It is a chilly morning here in south Louisiana as I write this at my desk. This morning I am thinking about how many people I have been able to help to move to the next level and even though it is cold, those thoughts warm my heart.
It is surprising how many lies we live behind every single day that keep us in the dregs of mediocrity and average. Most people are completely unaware!
They have no idea how much more success is waiting for them. No doubt as you are reading this you are thinking to yourself, “That’s not me, I’m a well versed business person.”
In every audience I mention a phrase or a saying that everyone knows well. You see we are a product of the inputs in our lifetime up until now. There are actions and re-actions that are pre-programed into us. Things we know so well that they illicit a predisposed response that does not serve us in our journey of success. Here are a few, you finish the sentence.
Good things come…..
Money is the root……
I’m sure you were able to finish both of those sentences. Now think about it. You have internalized these sayings so much that the response is automatic. But do you truly believe them? Are you really going to wait around on your patio sipping some hot morning drink and hope that success comes tumbling into your lap? If you are a seasoned entrepreneur you know that is no way to achieve success. What about the second phrase? Is money really evil?
To be a success you must first dispel the myths that have you tied to your current results. Get around successful people, obtain a coach, attend seminars. Expose yourself great thinkers. The Now to Wow guide is a great free resource to help you move to your next step. I contains the lessons I learned along my journey from washed out looser to living a life I only dreamed about.
Of all the above if you really want to do a deep dive into the underlying drivers that are hijacking your success I would say a personal coach is by far your best avenue.
Here’s a saying you DO want to remember:
If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you always got.
