As I mentioned a couple weeks ago I was working through some difficult obstacles. Every deal was a large opportunity but every single deal hit a wall. After a brief time of reflection I hit reset with renewed hope and vigor.
Just like real life there were snags in the reset. I just couldn't work through all the issues with Cisco and had to drop the deal. The meeting with our local sheriff is still moving forward. The college, well if you ever tried to work through the bureaucracy of a college campus, you know exactly how that's going.
I honestly think college campuses weed out their vendors by creating a difficult path to work for them. Those that endure to the end must be quality workers.:)
Here's the rub, I know that what I have-- the mind set changing, success building teaching they need-- so I'm still in the game. Still working because I know they need what I have.
You have an amazing gift to give your world.
There is an audience out there with wants and needs - the very wants and needs you can fulfill. These wants and needs are not being fulfilled.
And if their wants and needs are not being met by you, guess what? Sooner or later, they'll find an alternative voice to scratch their itch.
Right now, they're not experiencing your value. And that means you're missing out on the rich compensation that comes from serving the wants and needs of a mass audience.
What contracts are you leaving on the table today? As I see it there are three types of clients:
1. Those that for whatever reason aren't a good fit right now
2. Those that will need some grit to reach
3. Those that are right under your nose waiting for your call
Don't give up. Dust yourself off and go activate your awesome and live the life you were meant to live.
